Smart monitoring and maintenance of bridges
Objectives
Reduce structural risks on bridges, intervene before failures occur, and digitize road infrastructure maintenance.
DESCRIPTION
Eagleprojects has developed an advanced platform for continuous monitoring and intelligent maintenance of bridges, integrating:
- Data from accelerometers already present on infrastructure 315 (Naples–Salerno)
- AI algorithms to detect cracks, subsidence and sensor anomalies in real time
- An autonomous drone for remote visual inspections

5G BRAINS
Advanced monitoring of critical infrastructures
Objectives
To enhance the resilience and lifespan of urban infrastructure through the integration of FBG and GNSS sensors, satellite data analysis, AI, and automation.
DESCRIPTION
Eagleprojects proposed its innovative platform for the management of civil infrastructures through:
- Static and dynamic sensors (GNSS, accelerometers, strain gauges, inclinometers, temperature sensors) installed by Eagleprojects and Yetitmoves on two bridges in Turin: Amedeo IX and Carlo Emanuele III
- An advanced AI module for crack detection and long-term anomaly monitoring
- Integration with a autonomous drone provided by ADPM Drones for automated visual inspections
- A visualization platform for real-time monitoring and automatic alerts

AI at the Service of Cultural Heritage Protection
Objectives
To protect and enhance cultural heritage by enabling continuous and sustainable long-term monitoring.
DESCRIPTION
Eagleprojects contributed its monitoring platform with live data and detailed 3D capabilities to support a project based on:
- Innovative tools for physical, chemical, and structural monitoring of artworks
- Portable and non-invasive instruments for on-site and remote analysis
- Mobile applications for field data collection
- The iSSP cloud platform built on Eagleprojects’ visualization system and integrated with additional analysis tools for viewing, managing, and sharing newly acquired data and historical records of past interventions
- AI-based analytics models to optimize conservation strategies and enhance the interpretation of data from these innovative tools

Garmosat
Satellite monitoring and AI data analysis of landfills
Objectives
To provide a comprehensive solution for dynamic environmental monitoring, capable of correlating phenomena detected from air, ground, and satellite sources.
DESCRIPTION
GARMOSAT was developed to monitor environmental emissions from landfills, integrating advanced technologies and heterogeneous data sources into Eagleprojects' GIS-based visualization platform:
- Satellite data analysis for methane detection using Copernicus and PRISMA data
- 3D reconstruction of the Malagrotta waste collection area
- Drone surveys and ground-based flow meters for detection of harmful airborne agents
- Supportive AI algorithms for data analysis
- Digital platform for managing and interactively visualizing geolocated environmental data, thermal imagery, orthophotos, AI models, and multi-layer visualizations
- Temporal analysis and aggregated statistics over georeferenced grid zones
