We believe in a new immersive way of communicating, learning and interacting in the phygital (hybrid of physical and digital) world. To best communicate the concept of a new product, teach a procedure to an employee, or work on digital 3D models, a cold and detached 2D visualization is no longer sufficient.

Eagleprojects is researching ways to unlock the potential of augmented and virtual reality. We believe that the best way to interact with the digital world is to experience it in 360 degrees, merging reality and virtuality by taking the best of both worlds. That is why we develop experiences and Digital Twin for smart glasses such as Oculus Quest 2, Hololens and Epson Moverio. However, we believe that smart glasses are not the only way to interact with the phygital world, as there can be no metaverse confined to a single device.

THE CASE STUDY
In 2022, Eagleprojects undertook the design of the fiber-optic network for the city of Athens, Greece, by devising a new type of fiber-optic control unit tailored to their requirements. An effective and impactful way was needed to communicate the fruits of their investment to stakeholders before the installations were implemented.
A 1:1 scale Digital Twin was created, faithfully depicting each fiber optic cabinet, connection, the location and structure of the control unit. The experience was developed in Unity in 2 weeks and optimized for Quest 2 standalone VR visors.

This gave the client in-depth knowledge of the project by experiencing it directly, showing the concreteness of their investments and transforming a technical apparatus into an immersive and emotionally impactful experience.
