It is right to inform you, right from the start, that your “sensitive data” will not be processed through this site.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Websites do not normally have the ability to "memorize" users who visit them, nor to recognize their preferences or tastes. Cookies are small text files used by websites to recognize you as a unique user and are sent from the website to the terminal used (PC, smartphone, notebook, etc.), to be stored and then reused on the next visit.

Cookies are not all the same, and it is right to know how to distinguish the type and functionality, in order to always participate in a conscious and informed navigation.

A first fundamental distinction is between temporary cookies (session) that end their function at the end of the session; and persistent cookies, which, at the end of navigation, are not immediately removed but remain on the device used. Their function is to facilitate user navigation.

Both of these types can, in turn, be “proprietary” or “third-party”.
The first are cookies from the site you are visiting, the second are cookies created by different sites, namely third parties, which are responsible for and manage the aforementioned.

The Site uses Umami cookies and processes information only in aggregate format for statistical purposes, click here for more information about this.

A further distinction is between “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies. The former, as specified in art. 122 of the GDPR, are “aimed solely at carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the contractor or the user to provide such service”. Differently, profiling cookies are those aimed at classifying users according to profiles, in order to send targeted advertisements to the interests shown during navigation.

The Site does not use cookies for profiling purposes.
